In Deauville, Normandy, the Maximin Hellio restaurant offers a breath of fresh sea air to its guests. For god's sake, chef Hellio, helped by his partner Sophie, who offers everyone a warm welcome, continues family tradition in his eponymous restaurant.
His card is rich in legacies handed down by his father Michel, who officiates behind the ovens of the family restaurant, La Voile d'Or.
A Michelin star and three toques awarded by the Gault and Millau Guide bear witness to the culinary precision of the master of caans. Atlantic obliges, the basis of his recipes is made up of catch of the day, which is enhanced with perfectly focused personal touches.

Un très agréable moment chez Maximin Hellio. Service attentionné et agréable. Cuisine parfaitement exécutée. Une table qui mérite largement sa première étoile, un petit plus d'originalité et de créativité pourrait appeler la seconde. On y retournera.
