DESCRIPTION LA ZAGARA - CASA MARIANTONIA

In Anacapri, on the isle of Capri, Casa Mariantonia is an old residence transformed into a boutique hotel in a pedestrian zone, still little known to tourists.

Built in 1800, this residence was transformed into a small inn by Pierpaolo's great-grandmother, Marcello and Mariagela, the 3 brothers who are now looking after them and are happy to welcome travellers to their 9 rooms and suites. Each room has been designed to make those who stay here feel at home, mixing classic elements of Capri architecture with contemporary decor.

As for the restaurant, La Zigzagara offers travellers the unique experience of eating "under a lemon sky", thanks to its terrace filled with lemon trees. Savour the chef's dishes and finish your meal with an unmissable glass of Limoncello, which, in legend, was invented here by the great-grandmother Mariantonia. A few steps from the restaurant, the La Zigzagara wine bar is the perfect spot for your aperitif.

Thanks to its privileged location, Casa Mariantonia is the perfect starting point for visiting Villa San Michele, Mount Solaro, the centre of Capri and the famous Grotta Azzurra, the Marina Grande and the lighthouse.
