In Sancerre, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, La Pomme d'Or is a former 19th-century coaching inn converted into a gourmet restaurant on a human scale.
At the establishment of this Gourmet Bib, Breton-born chef Yann Tournier officiates in the kitchen, supported by his partner, Justine Heuzé, in the dining room. His mission? Offer all a gastronomic journey between his native region, especially through fish, and the local produce, thanks to delicious baby vegetables.
Of course, the chef places great pride in always highlighting, in his mastered preparations, seasonal products.
Sancerrois obliges, La Pomme d'Or also offers ambitious wine pairings.
