Some twenty kilometres from Auxerre in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, La Borde is an estate made up of an authentic 14th-century stately residence and 7 hectares of wooded grounds. 6 rooms have been prettily furnished in this charming hotel-restaurant by Marieke and Rik Klomp, who are at the service of their guests.

Here, everything is refined and elegant: from the decoration of the rooms to the choice of materials, not to the exterior layouts. Not forgetting the chef's menu, which reveals delicate flavours in the palate.

Enjoy the passing of time here: between the bucolic walks, the heated outdoor pool, the spa and the fitness centre, it's a pleasure to relax.

We had the most wonderful stay at La Borde. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are extraordinary and good delicious. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and have been extremely helpful, and a delight to get to know over our weekend stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay with them.
