In Villecresnes, 25km south-east of Paris, L'Inattendu is a gourmet restaurant worth the detour.

Emilien Rouable creates a cuisine full of duality, "a bit rude", in his own words, and at the same time "feminine". The chef - who opens his first establishment with L'Inattendu - thanks to his creations, is dedicated to paying homage to the women who raised him.

Emilien Rouable, who went through the kitchens of Maxim's and Fouquet's, has also made it his mission to highlight seasonal produce, grown (or raised) in a sustainable and responsible manner.
