DESCRIPTION L'ESSENTIEL

Just down the road from Normandy's Deauville beach, L'Essentiel is a gourmet restaurant that goes right to the point. Like the duo of chefs Mi-Ra and Charles Thuillant, it's an alliance of Korean and French cuisine that serves as the basis for the menu on offer, acclaimed with a star by the Michelin Guide and two toques in the Gault & Millau guide. In a pleasant contemporary and comfortable setting, the guests take pleasure in contemplating the work of the brigade through the transparency of the bay windows. Seasonal products sourced from local producers and sought after Asian flavours are on the establishment's menu, offering the opportunity to make unexpected discoveries.
