In Capri, the Da Tonino restaurant is an oasis of peace far from the island's classic tourist routes. Before reaching this destination, take advantage of a lovely stroll from the "Piazzetta delle noci" and discover unusual Capri, with its authentic colours and heady scents.
Founded by Antonio Aprea in the 90s, the restaurant is now run by his sons, Salvatore and Gennaro. Salvatore, the youngest, enhances traditional recipes with his experience gained during his various assignments throughout Italy. Respect and the promotion of local produce are at the centre of his philosophy, as is the enhancement of the region and the perpetual search for new ways to reinterpret tradition.
On the canteen side, Gennaro houses one of capri's largest wine collections, with more than 2,000 wines. Here you'll find the great names of oenology as well as talented small-time producers...
